Part Time Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician, also known as a Fix-It Pro & Property Perfectionist, to work approximately 28 hours a week, floating between our Monroe, Athens, and Commerce GA storage locations. The ideal candidate is someone who notices small issues before others, takes pride in fixing things correctly and efficiently, and enjoys a variety of hands-on tasks. You should be dependable, resourceful, practical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while also communicating effectively. Safety, organization, and maintaining property appearance are key aspects of this role. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
- A background screening will be conducted at time of hire.
- For positions that involve driving, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete routine maintenance and repairs across assigned properties to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and building-related issues
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and inspections
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and scheduled procedures
- Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts; order materials as instructed
- Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of buildings, units, and grounds
- Communicate regularly with property teams regarding maintenance needs, budgets, and completed work
- Assist with coordinating external vendors and contractors for larger repair or capital improvement projects
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times
