About The Position

Northland is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Lofts at Zebulon, a 247-unit apartment community in Macon, GA. This role is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and work orders, including HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping. The technician will also be responsible for timely apartment turnovers for scheduled move-ins, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service with residents, vendors, and guests. Maintenance team members are required to handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call as needed, including nights and weekends.

Requirements

Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors.
Must possess own hand tools.
Must be able to work nights, weekend, and holiday shifts as part of the on-call responsibility.
Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to climb, bend, and squat.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, or to attend training classes.
May be required to operate a golf cart on the property.
