About The Position
Didion Orf Recycling is a leading provider of recycling and scrap metal management services. We specialize in the collection, processing, and selling of metals and electronics, contributing to a sustainable future. We’re seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment or industrial maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills—you can find the problem and fix it.
- Basic electrical knowledge (motor controls, circuits, PLCs is a plus).
- Able to work fast and safely, stay organized, and adapt when priorities change.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hydraulics and welding preferred.
- PLCs
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and machinery.
- Work on trucks, trailers, cranes, conveyors, balers, shears, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and more.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and fix problems quickly and effectively.
- Handle electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs.
- Weld and fabricate when needed.
- Work independently and as a team.
- Follow all safety standards on the job.
