About The Position

The Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment at Plant 1 in Livingston, Tennessee, on the second shift. The role diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related problems to minimize equipment downtime, supports the preventive maintenance program, and helps manage maintenance inventory and spare parts. The technician follows safety, environmental, and quality requirements, works independently, collaborates with production and maintenance teams, and may train and support new employees.

Requirements

Industrial Maintenance degree or certificate, or equivalent related experience.
Experience with PLCs.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience with robotics.
Experience with welding.
Experience with AC/DC electrical systems.
Experience with motor controls.
Experience with plumbing.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work from ladders and lifts.
Frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues.
Respond to equipment problems and solve them effectively to minimize downtime.
Support and maintain the preventive maintenance (PM) program.
Assist with maintenance inventory and spare parts management.
Train and support new employees as needed.
Follow safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Work independently while collaborating with production and maintenance teams.
