This role is crucial for maintaining the high quality of apartment communities, ensuring residents receive prompt and professional service, and keeping the property's buildings, grounds, and equipment in excellent condition. Requirements

1-2 years of property maintenance experience or related field.
EPA HVAC Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months, paid by the company).
Ability to handle basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Positive attitude and team-player mentality.

Nice To Haves

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred (if the community has a pool).

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and exterior buildings.
Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance needs.
Prepare market-ready apartments by performing repairs, installations, and inspections.
Adhere to OSHA safety standards, company policies, and Fair Housing regulations.
Keep property clean and well-maintained, including snow removal and seasonal pool maintenance where applicable.
Be available for emergency maintenance needs as part of an on-call schedule.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
