About The Position

Our Property Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This role involves maintaining the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community, ensuring a clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors. Key duties include completing apartment make-ready procedures, performing regular inspections and repairs, maintaining an organized maintenance shop, and ensuring community curb appeal through lawncare. The position also requires taking after-hours emergency calls as assigned.

Requirements

Required to stand/walk for long periods of time.
This position requires availability for on-call emergencies at all hours
Ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation
Strong time management, planning, and organizational abilities

Nice To Haves

Experience in property maintenance is preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge
Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects

Responsibilities

Maintain the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community
Ensure clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors
Completes apartment make-ready procedures such as: painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing old and faulty parts; replacing burnt-out light bulbs; checking/changing locks; and cleaning.
Makes regular inspections of grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment and performing repairs as necessary with the approval of the Property Manager.
Responsible for maintaining an organized maintenance shop and keeping inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
Maintain apartment community curb appeal by performing necessary lawncare
Takes after-hours emergency calls, as assigned
