About The Position

At Bozzuto, Maintenance Technicians help design, build, manage, and maintain residences while delivering exceptional experiences to residents and fellow team members. The role focuses on responsive service ticket resolution, preventative maintenance, apartment turnover work, and maintaining the building and grounds. The position includes weekend or evening work and participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. After 12 months of employment, the employee is eligible to earn an EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification fully paid by Bozzuto. The position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Experience in building maintenance or education in the trades.
Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
Availability for property emergencies, including an on-call rotation.
Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional appearance.
Basic computer skills and comfort using software, apps, and computer programs.
A service mentality and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Resolve resident service tickets and complete preventative maintenance.
Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
Maintain the building’s appearance and community safety through general upkeep, cleanliness, snow removal, and grounds maintenance.
Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
Work weekends or evenings and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
