Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in fabrication, mechanical, and electrical repair using shop tools.
  • Forklift license required (preferred if not currently certified).
  • Ability to read precision gauges and technical drawings.
  • Ability to safely and properly use hand tools.
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly procedures.
  • Strong adaptability with willingness to cross-train in multiple job functions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Currently certified forklift license

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to develop and execute programs that reduce downtime in recurring trouble areas.
  • Repair production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Fabricate and install new equipment to support production needs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Follow all safety protocols, utilize proper PPE, and comply with NOV Company, HSE, and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Support assigned projects and perform other duties as required.
  • Work overtime and shift schedules as required.
  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements (shoveling, sweeping, fastening) for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Push and pull materials for extended periods during shifts.
  • Travel up to 10% as needed.
