As the Maintenance Technician, you will be a key team player in the upkeep of the property by responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly while possessing a strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs. Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, leadership, and residents.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
  • A passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers even in difficult situations.
  • Operating computers and other technological devices to access email, and company-utilized software.
  • Meet task deadlines as assigned.
  • Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification (HVAC) or HVAC Certification. If not currently certified, the selected candidate must obtain the required certification within 60 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
  • Plumbing or Electrical Licenses

Responsibilities

  • Respond to service requests and complete repairs promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of property by maintaining and repairing issues across parking lot, buildings, and all common areas.
  • Clean out vacated apartments.
  • Assist the Groundskeeper with service requests as needed.
  • Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all residents proactively solving issues, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for all.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to participate in upkeep.
  • Pick up debris and remove other objects from the property.
  • Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Provide professional and timely responses to all work orders.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
