About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician, also known as a handyman, to perform commercial facility maintenance and repairs across our client sites in the Las Vegas valley. This is hands-on building maintenance work: preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and service calls following OEM specs and checklists. You will work across multiple commercial accounts, including a secured airport site that requires airport badging and background clearance. You will document all hours and parts in our computerized work-order (CMMS) system, and respond to on-call needs that include some nights and weekends. The role starts part-time and can grow to full-time as work order volume increases.

Requirements

  • Hands-on commercial maintenance or handyman experience across multiple trades.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, Lock Out Tag Out, fall protection, and electrical safety.
  • Comfort logging work in a computerized work-order or CMMS system.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • On-call availability, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to pass AOA airport badging at Harry Reid International (LAS).
  • Ability to pass a background check covering five years of employment history and references.
  • Ability to pass drug testing under an approved program.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English for radio communication, work orders, and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with WebTMA or a similar CMMS system.
  • In-depth experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry beyond general repairs.
  • Prior work on secured, airport, or government sites.
  • Willingness to complete ongoing training, such as electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to OEM specifications.
  • Conduct light electrical work, including bulb and cover replacement, and basic fixture work.
  • Perform plumbing tasks such as clearing drains, clogs, and servicing grease traps, fountains, and eye wash stations.
  • Handle carpentry and finishes, including carpet, tile, flooring, millwork, and counter repairs.
  • Repair locks, keys, fixtures, blinds, and minor appliances.
  • Document all hours and parts in the computerized work-order (CMMS) system.
  • Respond to on-call needs, which may include nights and weekends.
  • Spend a minimum of two days per week at the airport site (16 dedicated hours) performing preventive maintenance.
  • Work across approximately 30 other client sites for on-call service, preventive maintenance, and inspections.
  • Perform some work from the City Wide office.
