About The Position

Mister Car Wash is a leader in the car wash industry and the world's largest and fastest-growing car wash company. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be part of a team responsible for keeping car wash sites running safely and efficiently. This hands-on role involves applying electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic skills to maintain and repair industrial car wash equipment. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, respond to breakdowns, partner on new installations, and contribute to maintaining safe and operational locations. The role offers opportunities for technical growth through exposure to new equipment and technologies across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
  • Electrical experience, including exposure to: 3-phase high-voltage systems, Low-voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, Control wiring and powered equipment.
  • Solid skills in at least four of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Welding, Pneumatics, Plumbing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders).
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire).

Responsibilities

  • Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best.
  • Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3-phase power.
  • Travel across your market in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
  • Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
  • Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
  • Build strong relationships with teammates who count on your technical expertise.
  • Maintain safe, efficient, and fully operational locations.
  • Take advantage of travel opportunities to gain exposure to new equipment, emerging technology, and best practices across multiple locations.
