Maintenance Technician P&T

PMG Holding LLCPerkins Township, OH
$30 - $34Onsite

About The Position

P&T, part of Pavement Maintenance Group, is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong electrical, controls, and PLC troubleshooting experience to support our manufacturing operation. This is not a sit-behind-a-desk technical role, and it is not just a basic wrench-turning mechanic role either. The right person will be comfortable working in a plant environment, getting dirty when needed, and using their technical ability to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. In this role, you will work on a wide range of industrial equipment and systems, including hot oil heaters, augers, hydraulics, pumps, bag machines, case machines, palletizing robots, and 110/220/480V electrical systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing equipment issues, tracing electrical problems, troubleshooting PLC inputs and outputs, performing preventative maintenance, repairing mechanical and electrical components, and helping minimize downtime across the facility. We are looking for someone who can think through problems, read manuals and schematics, follow safe lockout/tagout procedures, and communicate clearly with plant leadership when repairs or equipment concerns arise. Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, RSLogix, Fanuc robots, case erectors, bag inserters, or similar automated manufacturing equipment is highly valuable. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation but is also practical, resourceful, and willing to jump in where needed. You may be working on controls one day, a pump or hydraulic issue the next, and supporting general plant maintenance after that. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, likes variety, and wants to be the person the plant relies on when equipment needs to run. P&T offers the stability of an established manufacturing operation with the entrepreneurial, hands-on culture of a growing company. We value people who take ownership, work safely, solve problems, and support the team. If you have electrical and PLC experience, enjoy working around industrial equipment, and want a role where your technical skills directly impact daily operations, this could be a strong fit.
