About The Position

An Omni Maintenance Technician inspects, repairs, and maintains machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure efficient operation. This position works primarily on the auto shredder operation. The technician performs preventive maintenance, project work, and equipment installation; welds and fabricates as needed; and works with chemicals that may require a full-face respirator or SCBA. The role also includes maintaining accurate maintenance documentation, monitoring safe work practices, covering maintenance vacations, and completing other tasks assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Excellent safety record.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with others.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to pass a fit test for a full-face respirator and SCBA.

Nice To Haves

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Electrical experience.
• PLC knowledge.
• Formal electrical or automation training.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
