About The Position

Mr. Magic Car Wash is seeking a mechanically inclined technician to join their Magic Mechanics team. This full-time, field-based role involves performing scheduled and emergency maintenance on car wash systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and ensuring operational uptime. The ideal candidate is a methodical troubleshooter who enjoys fixing complex systems and maintaining high-performance machinery.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in facilities, field service, industrial maintenance, or similar.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Able to read schematics and use power tools.
Self-directed but capable of working with others when needed.
Able to remain calm and methodical under pressure.
Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Welding experience.
Logic controller programming experience.
Car wash systems experience.
Familiarity with logic controllers or open to learning.

Responsibilities

Keep car wash systems running by performing scheduled and emergency maintenance.
Read schematics, diagnose electrical issues with ohmmeters, and troubleshoot systems.
Identify problems before they happen through regular inspections and preventive care.
Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings for consistent wash quality.
Accurately and timely record and report maintenance logs, parts usage, and diagnostics.
Weld components and maintain structural integrity where needed.
Respond promptly to on-site service requests and support operational uptime.
Collaborate with managers and site teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
