About The Position

This position is responsible for maximizing the productive time of equipment, improving the reliability and repeatability of production systems, and providing support to production associates. The role also involves coordinating and assisting with equipment installation and start-up.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED Required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience required.
• Must be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Machining and welding capabilities required.
• Good computer skills required to include Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Effective oral and written skills mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Motivated / Self-Starter.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or other related degree program preferred.
• 2 years’ experience with PLC’s preferred.
• 5 years’ experience w/480 electric preferred.
• Familiar with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC Controls preferred.
• Should be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other state/local organizations.

Responsibilities

• Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance accurately and timely.
• Perform preventive maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules and based on equipment manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner.
• Assist in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.
• Close out work orders using the maintenance scheduling software.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
