About The Position

The Maintenance Technician responds to line calls and troubleshoots packaging and processing equipment. The role includes learning and completing preventive maintenance procedures according to schedule, following up on equipment breakdowns during the shift, and covering outages on other shifts when needed. The technician must be able to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work-related English.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot packaging and processing equipment.
• Ability to learn preventive maintenance procedures and follow the PM schedule.
• Ability to work and cover outages on other shifts.
• Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work-related English.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Follow up on breakdowns that occur during the shift.
• Troubleshoot line calls on shift.
• Answer line calls and troubleshoot packaging and processing equipment.
• Learn PM procedures and follow the PM schedule.
• Work and cover outages on other shifts.
