Maintenance Technician- (4p to 4a)
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician position is a 12-hour rotating shift from 4pm-4am with rotating weekends off with a starting pay rate of $33.28 plus a shift differential of $1.25 per hour. The position is a year-round position and working indoors. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day Maintenance activities within the team. Using the principles of total quality management to execute the work of preventative maintenance and repair equipment and actively participate in project development and training. Accountable for effective communication between management and team to maximize effective maintenance engagement practices.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting complex equipment
- Reading and interpreting manuals and work orders
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives
- Responding to equipment process concerns
- Prioritizing work orders, PM/CM as needed
- Adhering to schedules and operational procedures including safety precautions related to the equipment and for performing assigned tasks
- Taking appropriate actions and making recommendations to ensure a safe working environment
- Performing safety checks on equipment prior to the season of operations
- Performing regularly scheduled preventative maintenance
- Performing diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures
- Participating in daily maintenance projects and tasks
- Participating in preparatory meetings for maintenance day overhauls and cleans
