About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process piping and controls equipment systems and components. The technician will follow procedures, execute work orders, evaluate equipment for problem identification, and implement solutions to ensure equipment reliability. Regular cleaning and maintenance of plant areas and equipment are also key responsibilities, along with performing all duties safely, including operating a company vehicle.

Requirements

HS Degree or Equivalent
Ability to work in a high-performance work system with minimal to no supervision
Five or more years work experience or equivalent combination of formal education/training and experience to include applicable military training/experience
Exposure to industrial DCS or PLC systems and the ability to learn about these systems.
Familiar with test equipment and ability to creatively troubleshoot complex systems
Familiar with pressurized systems, valves, piping systems and their operation.
Ability to read and follow SDS Sheets
Valid Drivers License
Ability to read printed maintenance manuals and other literature in English is required
Excellent Customer Service Skills are required. Must have the ability to keep the customer informed of system status (verbally and in writing).
This role requires access to information and products subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Consistent with those laws, candidates must meet the definition of a “U.S. person”—i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or an individual granted protected status (such as refugee or asylee) under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

PLC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs or supervises repairs as needed process piping and controls equipment systems and components.
Follows procedures, written manuals and actively executes scheduled work orders.
Evaluates process equipment for problem identification and recommends and/or implements solutions. Reliability of the equipment is critical to success.
Cleans and maintains plant areas and equipment regularly to promote organization and reliability.
Performs all duties safely, to include operating a company vehicle.
