About The Position
Morgan Properties is hiring a full-time Maintenance Service Technician for Sherwood Village Apartments, a 304-unit community in Eastampton, New Jersey. The role is responsible for ensuring the property's physical aspects meet company standards and applicable laws. The technician troubleshoots and addresses maintenance issues, maintains interior and exterior areas, responds to service tickets, and communicates with residents and office staff about repairs and updates.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Availability for the stated Monday–Friday schedule and paid rotating on-call participation.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot service issues involving HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.
- Participate in a paid rotating on-call schedule and be available and prepared for emergency events.
