About The Position
As a Maintenance Technician – Night Shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining the performance, reliability and compliance of equipment across our manufacturing site. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will be the primary mechanical support on night shift, responding to equipment issues, carrying out preventative maintenance and helping ensure uninterrupted operations within a GMP-regulated environment. Your work will directly support the production of trusted self-care products that reach millions of consumers worldwide. Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical maintenance certification.
- Experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, consumer healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills with the ability to assess issues and implement practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and respond effectively to changing operational needs during night shift.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working within GMP environments is highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues, identify root causes and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Act as the primary mechanical response across the site during night shift, managing maintenance priorities with a high level of independence.
- Complete maintenance activities in accordance with GMP requirements, site procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is documented in a timely manner.
- Work closely with production teams to identify equipment improvement opportunities and support operational performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, safety and efficiency.
