About The Position

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative electrical maintenance tasks, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on electrical issues, identifying permanent solutions, and assisting in electrical project concept and development. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Lead and performs assigned tasks, interfacing with the Maintenance Lead and Maintenance Manager on technical support issues. Responsibilities also include assisting with the stocking, restocking, inventory, and ordering of electrical hardware, and utilizing the CMMS to search for related electrical issues.

Requirements

• Formal education in the form of technical school degree/diploma/certificate in electrical controls
• Formal PLC training is preferred
• 2 years of full-time industrial electrical controls experience
• Working knowledge of relay and ladder logic
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with and without a schematic
• Experience in troubleshooting equipment using PLC software (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
• Rolling Toolbox & Electrical Tools (Multi-meter, Ethernet Cable Tester/Crimper, Electrical Ferrule Crimper, electrically insulated tools, etc…)
