About The Position

This role involves setting up, repairing, and maintaining machines and equipment. Key responsibilities include operating machine tools for repairs, troubleshooting equipment to diagnose problems, performing necessary repairs and maintenance, and testing equipment for correct operation.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
• Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
• May weld and fabricate parts using appropriate equipment (welding, shears, brake, etc.).
• May repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, relays or controls.
