About The Position

Prototek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve the equipment, facilities, fleet, and infrastructure that support our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with a variety of equipment, and taking ownership of projects that directly impact productivity, safety, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of maintenance, facilities, or industrial equipment experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and facilities
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and CNC related equipment
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities. This position is subject to ITAR which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. Person as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and coordinating repairs on manufacturing equipment
  • Managing facility, grounds, and fleet maintenance activities
  • Working with outside vendors and service providers
  • Supporting continuous improvement and facility upgrade projects
  • Scheduling preventative maintenance activities
  • Promoting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Partnering with operations teams to keep production running smoothly
