About The Position

Cottonwood Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team at Cason Estates Apartments in Murfreesboro, TN. This role involves performing various repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the apartment community. Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
  • Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
  • Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
  • Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.

Nice To Haves

  • EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus.
  • CPO certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems.
  • Provide after-hours emergency service as an on-call technician with support from the Service Manager.
