The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining residential apartments and common areas through timely, efficient repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure a safe and comfortable community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of maintenance experience (residential or commercial preferred)
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors/locks)
- Respond quickly to service requests and equipment issues
- Complete work orders accurately and on time
- Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Support team projects and seasonal tasks (e.g., snow removal)
- Maintain tools, materials, and supply inventory
- Participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed
