About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery and building systems to ensure continuous operation of the production line. This role involves executing a preventive maintenance schedule, responding to line-down situations, performing mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting, and supporting various building systems.

Requirements

• Three or more years in industrial maintenance or an equivalent trade.
• Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read a schematic and a parts diagram.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with industrial sewing machines, presses, or legacy manufacturing equipment.
• Welding or fabrication capability.

Responsibilities

• Execute the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Log every task, every part, and every finding.
• Respond to line-down calls and get the machine running again.
• Perform mechanical repair, adjustment, alignment, and lubrication on stitching, lasting, bottoming, and finishing equipment.
• Support building systems including air, dust collection, ventilation, lighting, and electrical.
• Follow and enforce lockout/tagout on every job, without exception.
• Flag any machine trending toward failure before it fails.
