About The Position

ComCap Management is seeking a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician to join their team at an affordable multifamily apartment community. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal functioning of all equipment and systems, contributing to a safe and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and facilities management. This position reports to the Property Manager and is accountable to the Director of Maintenance.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, ideally at a large apartment community.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, logic controllers, and general building maintenance practices.
Familiarity with RealPage OneSite software or similar tools for effective management of maintenance tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.
Ability to fabricate parts or components as necessary for repairs or improvements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Property Manager and Director of Maintenance to ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks for the property.
Complete all tasks associated with making units ready for new tenants.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Oversee the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other key systems along with all physical facilities and equipment at the property.
Fabricate parts as needed to support the effective completion of maintenance requests.
Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters and Voltmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
