About The Position

Action Mailing & Printing Solutions is a leader in direct mail and print services. We continue to grow after 30 years of successful business. Due to this growth there is a demand for talented professionals to join our team. We are currently seeking skilled technicians to perform mechanical maintenance on various production equipment. Maintenance Technicians ensure equipment that automates the production of mail pieces, including insert machines, folders and inkjets are operational to meet production needs. Maintenance Mechanics work Monday thru Friday and Mandatory Saturdays through our busy season. Candidate must have great listening skills and patience with the internal customers. The candidate will need to be able to communicate the proper usage technique to the operator to ensure the correct operation of the machine. Light electrical and computer skills are necessary. If you have exemplary work ethic; are dependable and punctual with a strong mechanical aptitude we want you to come join our team. Regular pay rate is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour DOE; Overtime rate is $27.00 to $30.00 per hour. We offer a casual work environment and a full benefits package. Requirements

• Light electrical skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Great time management and organizational skills
• 3 + years previous work experience on production equipment/machines
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, vendors and suppliers
• Demonstrates exemplary work ethic; dependable and punctual
• Must be able to pass background check including drug screen

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Machine change over and set ups
• Install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify & make adjustments to production equipment to ensure proper operation and prevent equipment down time
• Communicate proper technique to machine operators for optimal production
• Ensure proper preventative maintenance and safety inspections are done
• Continuously obtain knowledge on updated equipment and industry specifications
