POSITION SUMMARY: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability of our high-speed production equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a motivated tradesperson who thrives in a hands-on environment and is looking to grow their skillset across multiple disciplines, including opportunities to expand into additional certifications. Requirements

  • Licensed electrician (309A or 442A) or licensed millwright (433A) or 3rd year or higher apprentice working toward certification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ hands on experience in a high-speed packaging manufacturing environment (bottling or plastics preferred).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and documentation practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using technical drawings and schematics.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Install, align, repair, and modify production equipment and related systems.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement and reliability projects.
  • Fabricate, adjust, or replace components as needed to keep equipment running optimally.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all health, safety, and lockout procedures.
  • Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth production operations.
