About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling our Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups. Our team will train you on everything you need to know to thrive in your very own market. No previous experience with garage doors required, we got you! This role involves making things work perfectly, explaining mechanical things simply, helping people, solving problems, and working methodically, reliably, and trustworthiness. You should be self-motivated, enjoy working autonomously, move fast, and be willing to take on any task. Experience with repairs and maintenance in the home service industry, manufacturing, automotive, etc., is a plus. You should not apply if you prefer working without customers, dislike manual labor, are not weather resistant, or are unwilling to follow training instructions.

Requirements

Be nice
Able to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
Physically able to lift 50lbs
Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check
Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc as well as tablet and computer use
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Reading skills as well as basic math skills (measurements, payments) are required
Professional appearance
Current eligibility to legally work in the United States

Responsibilities

Handling Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups
Completing garage door inspections, following a checklist
Handling call back visits
Turning negative experiences into positive experiences
Educating customers on their door and inspection findings
Receiving POs for the warehouse and updating inventory with exact counts
Assisting the Area Manager or Market Lead with load outs for techs and installers
Maintaining physical counts in the warehouse and updating inventory
