About The Position

The Van Drunen Family of Companies is growing! This role is a hands-on position supporting high-speed packaging equipment and critical manufacturing operations. It offers opportunities to contribute to equipment reliability, process improvements, and continuous improvement projects. You will collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams to support plant performance and have ongoing opportunities to expand your technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, controls, and maintenance systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least one year of experience in maintenance, construction, manufacturing, or a related field.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with power tools and industrial equipment.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably FIXX.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on high-speed packaging equipment to maximize reliability, efficiency, and equipment uptime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, controls, and PLC-related issues to support safe and efficient production operations.
Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to identify improvement opportunities, optimize equipment performance, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Complete routine facility maintenance, building repairs, work orders, and exterior maintenance as needed.
Support equipment installations, process improvements, contractor coordination, and projects that enhance manufacturing operations.
Provide technical guidance to machine operators and assist with troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
