Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician performs scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care. They complete and document guest and associate work orders, troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals. This role also involves repairing furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances, as well as performing seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties. The technician will operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
