About The Position

Arrow Glass Industries, a residential, multi-family, and commercial glass company, is in search of a Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate must have experience with PLC’s/Driver and motors and CNC machines, and be able to perform mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance required for production. This role involves troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and operation of high-speed production machinery, and requires experience with various power tools. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills to work in self-managed work teams and have industrial electrical experience, including motor controls and 3 phase industrial power. Basic computer familiarity, good organizational skills, and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude are also necessary. A basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and the ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical prints are required. Experience welding and with electrical test meters and torch, as well as forklift and scissor lift experience, are a plus. Experience using overhead cranes is also mentioned.

Requirements

Experience with PLC’s/Driver and motors and CNC machines
Experience with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and operation of high-speed production machinery
Experience with various power tools (drills, Bandsaw, Hammer drill)
Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work in self-managed work teams
Industrial electrical experience, motor controls (contactors, wiring thermal relays and switches, 3 phase industrial power)
Own mechanical tools
Basic computer familiarity
Good organizational skills
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic
Ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical prints
