About The Position

CHC Addiction Services is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. We are currently looking for a motivated, conscientious and dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities and equipment in a safe and operational manner.

Requirements

Must have High School Diploma and be experienced in diversified industrial, construction, or facility maintenance.
Have knowledge of building construction, electrical, heating, plumbing repair, drywall repair, tiling ad floor repair and painting.
Must also be familiar with tools, equipment and practices ordinarily required for building maintenance.
Must be an organized self starter, will to work both independently or with a team.
Must have a good driving record and a valid Ohio Drivers license.

Responsibilities

Providing general maintenance and repair to CHC buildings and properties.
Rehabbing of apartments/bedrooms as needed.
Providing light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry services.
Minor Tiling/ Floor repairs as needed.
Drywall Repair/Painting.
Moving furniture if needed.
Providing some custodian services.
Snow removal as needed.
Paid On-Call Rotation.
