Requirements

  • Proven maintenance experience in an agricultural, industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electric motors, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience replacing and maintaining conveyor belts and conveyor systems.
  • Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to diagnose issues and develop practical solutions independently.
  • Self-starter with excellent initiative and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage and high-voltage electric motors and related equipment.
  • Replace, repair, and maintain conveyor belts and conveyor systems.
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance on farm equipment, buildings, and production systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
  • Complete basic electrical work, including wiring, motor controls, and component replacement.
  • Perform general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect equipment regularly and proactively identify maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist with general farm maintenance projects as needed.
