Fogelman is hiring a certified Maintenance Technician for Autumn Park Apartments in the Charlotte area. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our communities. We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair. Strong customer service skills, a team-oriented mindset, reliability, honesty, and a commitment to high-quality work are essential. A valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience.
  • HVAC certified.
  • Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Reliable, honest, and committed to high-quality work.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and online applications.
  • Ability to comprehend and speak.
  • Good eyesight and good hearing.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
  • HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
  • Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents.
  • Completing all service requests as assigned.
  • Completing all make-ready units.
  • Ensuring the care, maintenance, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
  • Supplying all personal tools.
  • Cleaning work area, tools, and equipment.
  • Assisting in preventive maintenance projects.
  • Escalating unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
  • Participating in "on call" rotation and responding to emergency calls as needed.
  • Maintaining positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Operating within company safety policies at all times.
  • Adhering to all company policies including safety and Fair Housing.
  • Performing other job duties as assigned.
