We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a 138-unit apartment community in Patterson, CA. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values creating a safe and well-maintained environment for residents. Experience with general building maintenance and landscaping is preferred, and experience with affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is a plus.

  • Basic Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition
  • Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal
  • Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs
  • Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies
  • Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
  • Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed
  • Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations
  • Following company policies and procedures
