About The Position

SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. is a leading North American supplier of engineered solutions for the pressure vessel and propane industries. We design and manufacture a variety of engineered products including propane motor fuel tanks, commercial and industrial pressure vessels, and automated propane cylinder vending kiosks. Founded in 1963 and based in London, Ontario, we are proud to employ a diverse team of highly skilled welding and engineering professionals. Our 147,000 square foot production facility boasts a state-of-the-art air quality and ventilation system including air purifiers, ten skylights, strategically placed ceiling fans, top of the line welding machines and helmets and high efficiency LED lighting throughout the production floor. We are actively recruiting for an existing vacancy and are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and effective operations. Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Previous experience operating a forklift
  • Mechanical mindset and abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical knowledge considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment and facilities systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities and ensure accurate, timely documentation
  • Support general facility maintenance which may include HVAC, plumbing and building systems
  • Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and meet project deadlines
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability
  • Other duties as assigned
