About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing day-to-day maintenance and operational corrections for the production lines and facility, ensuring that all systems, equipment, and building infrastructure are functioning efficiently and safely. This position also serves as a multi-craft technician supporting production processes, capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related maintenance work.

Requirements

  • Must be able to interact with management and other employees: to troubleshoot and repair issues with plant production equipment
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift and aerial platform lift license
  • Must possess problem solving skills, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement
  • Have capability of working in a team environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledgeable multi-craft skills (mechanical, electrical, industrial controls, pneumatic, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of computer usage and maintenance work management systems

Nice To Haves

  • technical or trade school certification preferred
  • Prefer at least 2-4 years of working experience in the trained area in industrial manufacturing.
  • Prefer previous experience in shift leadership over an industrial technical

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA standards, and company maintenance procedures.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and adjust or repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues with the operational equipment that is affecting the quality or output of the production product.
  • Perform and oversee routine maintenance, including inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to systems and equipment with limited supervision and guidance during shift.
  • Execute corrective maintenance on machinery, production equipment, and building components as needed.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, service logs, and equipment performance.
  • Conform with the environmental policy and procedures and with the requirements of the environmental management system.
  • Perform other duties as requested or as deemed appropriate.
