About The Position

Sinai Residences is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. Sinai Residences is a premier, five-star senior living facility in Boca Raton, FL, offering sophisticated independent living and assisted living options. The facility aims to provide superior service, compassionate care, and create a beautiful community. The General Maintenance person is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical plant. This includes conducting preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, and repairs to building equipment and plumbing, all under supervisor direction.

Requirements

One year of experience in maintenance necessary.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic.
A Level II background check is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Technical schooling and/or background preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers, and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.
Performs painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by the supervisor.
Performs routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
Performs minor building and equipment repairs.
Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
Does routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
WHEN QUALIFIED, assists the Director of Plant and/or performs work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
