About The Position
GL Partners Management (GLPM) is seeking a Service Technician to join their team at a multifamily community in San Diego. Service Technicians are essential in creating safe, welcoming, and exceptionally maintained communities. This role is for a dependable, solutions-oriented professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, resident service, and operational excellence. Requirements
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or multifamily experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance systems
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Valid driver’s license required
Nice To Haves
- HVAC certification or related technical certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests and repairs in a timely, professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and general maintenance issues
- Assist with apartment turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards
- Support inventory organization, shop cleanliness, and operational efficiency
- Deliver excellent resident service through clear communication and professionalism
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies
