About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, repairing or replacing parts, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly. The technician will collaborate with team members, document activities, adhere to safety protocols, and assist with inventory management. The position requires excellent problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating machinery and equipment.
