Technician 2, Maintenance Business Title: Technician, Maintenance Position Summary: Responsible for receiving stock from suppliers and puts the stock away in storage areas, rotate storage, and supply areas to maintain order. General maintenance and janitorial duties through entire facility. Deliver and pick up product from stores when needed. Responsible for the maintenance of facilities for an assigned facility and/or company retail stores; follow defined procedures and processes relating to repairs and/or replacements of equipment and fixtures.

Requirements

Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and reading skills to count stock and check supply order sheets.
Ability to learn general maintenance of bakery equipment.
Requires constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination.
Strong shoulders and back necessary.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Must frequently sit, walk, and stand.
Must be able to use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls.
Must be able to use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls.
Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

Receiving stock from suppliers and putting stock away in storage areas.
Rotating storage and supply areas to maintain order.
Performing general maintenance and janitorial duties throughout the facility.
Delivering and picking up product from stores when needed.
Maintaining facilities for an assigned facility and/or company retail stores.
Following defined procedures and processes relating to repairs and/or replacements of equipment and fixtures.
Driving bakery van and making deliveries to stores or other locations as required.
Maintaining water conditioner.
Cleaning drains in bakery.
Changing bread slicer blades.
Occasionally working in production areas or in the pan room, as required by production needs.
Performing basic truck maintenance on vehicles.
