About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and make an impactful difference by providing affordable housing to those that need it most. In this role, you will perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape, complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property’s systems in good working order. You will also prepare vacant units to occupancy standard, inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, conduct routine preventative maintenance, and partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prepare the site for inspections. Maintaining workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards, and rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience
  • Able to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform essential work to keep our properties in great shape
  • Complete service requests in a timely manner, interact with residents, and keep your property’s systems in good working order
  • Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests in a timely manner.
  • Prepare vacant units to occupancy standard within established time frame.
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds; immediately address safety issues with management.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with supervisor.
  • Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to prepare site for inspections.
  • Maintain workplace safety policies and standards, including current COVID-19 standards.
  • Rotating on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs.
