About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling our Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups. Our team will train you on everything you need to know to thrive in your very own market. No previous experience with garage doors required, we got you! This role involves interacting with customers, educating them on their garage doors, and ensuring their satisfaction. You will also be involved in warehouse inventory management and assisting with load outs.

Requirements

Ability to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
Physically able to lift 50lbs
Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check
Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc as well as tablet and computer use
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Reading skills as well as basic math skills (measurements, payments) are required
Professional appearance
Current eligibility to legally work in the United States
Must be nice
Must be self-motivated and enjoy working autonomously
Must move fast, be always busy and no task is too small or too big
Must be weather resistant (hot/cold depending on geography)
Must follow what you were taught in class and apply it with gusto

Nice To Haves

Experience with repairs and maintenance in the home service industry, manufacturing, automotive, etc.
Experience with garage doors

Responsibilities

Handling Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups
Completing garage door inspections, following a checklist
Handling call back visits
Turning negative customer experiences into positive ones
Educating customers on their garage doors and inspection findings
Receiving POs for the warehouse and updating inventory
Assisting the Area Manager or Market Lead with load outs for techs and installers
Maintaining physical counts in the warehouse and updating inventory
