Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated individual to help maintain our hotel properties. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in hotels, apartments, building maintenance, construction, or general maintenance. This position assists with guest room repairs, preventive maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks, troubleshooting HVAC and mechanical systems, general facility upkeep, and responding to maintenance requests. The position will be posted until September 25, 2026. The Maintenance Technician responds to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely manner while assisting in maintaining the property in a safe, clean, and efficient condition. This position works closely with the Engineering team to complete preventive maintenance, repairs, and daily upkeep throughout the hotel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in hotels, apartments, building maintenance, construction, or general maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using radios, completing work orders, and maintaining records
- Valid driver's license preferred for use of snow removal equipment and company vehicles
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and equipment troubleshooting
- Assist in maintaining guest rooms, public areas, kitchen, laundry, and back-of-house areas
- Complete daily work orders and document repairs performed
- Perform routine property walks to ensure the hotel is maintained safely and in good condition
- Communicate with team members via radio during shift
- Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Report unsafe conditions or repair issues to leadership
