About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, completing and documenting work orders, troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, maintaining pool systems, repairing furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment, and performing seasonal landscaping and groundskeeping duties. This role requires the ability to operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
- Complete and document guest and associate work orders
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
- Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
- Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
