About The Position

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a self-motivated, problem-solving Maintenance Technician for its 3rd shift operations. This critical role involves performing routine maintenance, mechanical and systematic troubleshooting, and overseeing the upkeep of facilities and equipment that support production. The ideal candidate will contribute to maximizing the uptime and reliability of production equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial manufacturing production and material-handling equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• OSHA 10 Hours Certified.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of industrial EHS requirements/policies, corrective action efforts/systems improvements, equipment installations, and participation in risk/hazard abatement.
• Ability to recognize and mitigate potential safety hazards.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
• Ability to regularly move 30-50lbs.
• Ability to regularly perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.

Nice To Haves

• Associate Technical Degree preferred.
• Preferably certified within a specific technical or vocational training.

Responsibilities

• Performing assigned tasks including plumbing, mechanical repairs, assisting in installations, and general repairs with troubleshooting.
• Providing planned, scheduled, unscheduled, preventative, and reactive repairs as required to maximize uptime and reliability of production equipment.
• Operating various company vehicles, including forklifts, man lifts, overhead cranes, etc., and obtaining proper training.
• Conducting other projects, duties, and assignments as needed and assigned by the Maintenance Manager or management.
