About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, completing and documenting guest and associate work orders, and troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. This role also involves maintaining, cleaning, and adjusting pool systems and chemicals, repairing furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment, and performing seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties. The technician will operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Hotel maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
