About The Position

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain a warm, welcoming environment for our residents and staff. The ideal candidate is someone others call when something breaks, takes pride in their work, enjoys a variety of projects, and understands that a well-maintained building helps create a comfortable home for the people who live there. If you're a skilled problem-solver with experience in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work, we'd love to hear from you!

Requirements

• Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Must successfully complete a pre-hire drug screening, criminal history record check and TB screening

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare, residential, hospitality, or commercial setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues (faucets, toilets, drains, etc.)
• Complete basic electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs)
• Perform carpentry and general handyman work
• Assist with painting, patching walls, and minor renovations
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Assist with snow removal
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
• Work collaboratively with other departments and outside vendors when needed
